Flickr
Have a Flickr account using my Google account. A few pictures are uploaded, but they are not public. It is just a place I can put pictures.

Week 3: Wikis
7. Explore wikis
edit and use intranet.auraria.edu/wiki regularly

Week 4:RSS & Newsreaders
8. Learn abouts RSS feeds and subscribe to feeds in a newsreader.

9. Locate a few useful library related blogs and/or newsfeeds
Have used these on occasion: The Travelin’ Librarian and Handheld Librarian

Week 5: Social Networking

Have had accounts with all three.
10. Facebook – ready to quit this one soon.
11. Chat/IM Used Meebo years ago, Skype for tons of things, use AskAuraria for Research Help.
12. Twitter: username is Dyschord. Don’t have much use for Twitter, personally, but maybe in the future.

Week 6: Podcasts & Video

14. Screencasts : I have made numerous screencasts using both Camtasia and Adobe Connect. See the meeting room: https//connect.cuonline.edu/libraryresearch/ This is a live meeting room which doesn’t have any recorded meetings, but could.

Week 7: Tagging
16. Delicious – too bad it may go away. Use it all the time.
17. LibraryThing - I have been using similar features in WorldCat Local. If we dump WorldCat, I’ll switch to LibraryThing. http://aurthings.blogspot.com/2009/08/librarything.html -
Week 8:Custom Desktop
18. iGoogle: have had an account for years.
19. Firefox and Firefox Add-ons: like Zotero.
20. Search Plug-ins for Internet Explorer and Firefox. I don’t like to clutter my screen with a bunch of extra stuff. I search and use only what’s needed. The one for EndNote Web is excellent.

Week 9: Electronic access
21. e-books : have over a hundred on my iPod
22. Explore Skillsoft: Have taken a number of required courses; one for supervisors and one on sexual harassment.

Week 10: Play
23. Explore these fun sites. – don’t really have time.
